Misha Burich

Currently an advisor and angel investor, after retiring as a high-technology executive in semiconductor and EDA industries, most recently at Altera Corporation (now part of Intel) where he was the CTO and Senior Vice President. In addition to thirteen years at Altera, he was a Vice President of R&D at Cadence and Mentor. He was a co-founder of three startup companies, including Silicon Design Labs/Silicon Compiler Systems, acquired by Mentor in 1990. After receiving his MS and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota in 1978, he worked for six years at Bell Labs Research in Murray Hill, New Jersey.
