Marcie Weinstein, PhD

Marcie is technical and a strategic marketing leader with over 25 years of experience in MEMS and semiconductors. Marcie specializes in building go-to-market strategies, positioning breakthrough technologies, and guiding early-stage companies from stealth to first customers and early investment.  Acting as a fractional marketing director for multiple startups, she defined markets, developed content and websites, developed go-to-market plans, led marcom, and translated complex deep-tech innovation into clear market messaging and traction - targeting engineering customers, investors, and media. Earlier in her career, she had many senior marketing roles at Akustica, a MEMS microphone startup, where she helped define and launch a first-to-the-world MEMS microphone. She built the market ecosystem and IP positioning strategy and later led marketing through the company’s acquisition by Bosch, successfully transitioning the brand and strategy under the world’s leading MEMS manufacturer. Marcie began her career as a senior member of the technical staff in the MEMS group at the Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, giving her a rare foundation bridging deep technical credibility with strategic market insight. She holds a Ph.D. in Solid State Physics from Lehigh University and a B.A. from Franklin & Marshall College.
