Tom Sandoval

Tom is focused on helping young companies with their sales, marketing, general management and product definition challenges.  He has held a variety of executive positions during his 35 years in the semiconductor industry.  

Tom was most recently Vice President of Global Automotive sales for Renesas.  He joined Renesas as a part of Renesas’ acquisition of Dialog Semiconductor where Tom held positions as Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Senior Vice president and General Manager of the Automotive Products Division.  Prior to his time at Dialog, Tom was Vice President of Americas Sales for Xilinx.  Before joining Xilinx, Tom was CEO of Calypto Design Systems, an EDA company solving complex problems in the areas of high-level design, verification, and power.  Prior to Calypto, Tom spent 15 years at LSI Logic in several sales, engineering, and marketing positions including GM of their communications division and Vice President of Design Engineering.  He started his career as an ASIC designer at Hughes Aircraft.

Tom has a BSEE from the University of Southern California.  He holds two patents in design methodology.
